Behind The Lens:
In the stark beauty of their Sub-Antarctic realm, the King Penguin is a study in contrasts: dark and light, strength and elegance, solitude and unity. To honour their timeless elegance, I chose to capture them in monochrome, their forms multiplied through an in-camera multiple exposure. This creative decision allowed me to portray their essence not as individuals, but as a collective—a royal lineage woven into a rhythmic composition of light and shadow.
