Behind The Lens:
Famed for its iconic, onomatopoeia call and dainty behaviour in flight the Black Legged Kittiwake is not often thought of for its eyes. However, there are some species that perfectly flaunt their overlooked details and instantly recognisable clues, just like the red eye ring that I was able to capture as the bird slept on its nest.
