Specialising in luxury photography workshops across the polar regions and beyond, Rachel offers not only her photographic knowledge but also a deep understanding of guiding in some of the world's most remote environments. What sets Rachel apart is her rare ability to combine her expertise as a leading wildlife photographer with her hands-on role as an experienced, IAATO-certified expedition guide. 
 

With a unique skill set as a licensed powerboat operator and advanced first aid professional, Rachel ensures that every expedition is conducted with the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Her workshops are designed to teach creative photographic techniques while providing participants with optimal placement for the best possible shots. Whether navigating icy waters by zodiac or envisioning the perfect image, Rachel’s experience as both a photographer and guide guarantees unparalleled opportunities for workshop guests. 

It is not uncommon for Rachel to partner with tour operators such as Heritage Expeditions, Nansen Polar Expeditions, Oceanwide Expeditions, Muench Workshops, Shetland Nature and more to lead a varied programme.

Rachel is an accomplished freelance wildlife photographer with extensive experience working under assignment for renowned organizations such as the RSPB, National Trust, WWF, and National Geographic. With a commitment to delivering projects to the highest standards, Rachel is available for commissioned wildlife photography work, bringing her expertise, creativity, and passion for conservation to every assignment.

As a sought-after public speaker, Rachel has presented at prestigious venues such as London's Parliament, The Natural History Museum, Global Bird Fair, The Photography Show, National Museum of Scotland, the National Outdoor Expo, and Global Bird Fair to name a few. Her captivating story-telling and inspiring keynote speeches have also been heard at international wildlife photography conferences in Australia, Finland, Norway, Spain, South Africa, and careers seminars at several UK universities.

Rachel also collaborates with leading photography and outdoor brands, including Nikon, Vallerett Photography Gloves, Benro, Tenba, KASE Filters, and Fotospeed, to authentically showcase their products in real-world, often extreme, environments. As a Nikon creator, Rachel exclusively uses Nikon equipment and is not seeking collaborations with alternative photographic brands. However, she is open to partnerships with other brands that align with her passion for wildlife photography, adventure, and the outdoors, offering authentic engagement with a specialised audience.
